Real Book Queen! 50+
I’m glad I found this circle, because it’s everything I believe in and fits me to a T! I support and respect physical, paper books; stopping myself from the words “real books” only to avoid offense to others. I’ve never felt this wonderful hobby should be digitized, when so few pastimes don’t depend on a computer or electricity as a whole. I very recently composed an article explaining why real books are the only form I will ever read. I welcome you to understand my love for them.
This reading challenge is the easiest for me on the face of the planet. I accept the quest of “Real Book Queen!” without blinking! I thank the hostesses for rolling out the red carpet for all who share the tangible, time-crossing passion. https://cmriedel.wordpress.com/2013/12/23/physicalbooksmattertome/
Note to the girls, since I don’t see a comment box. A monthly post doesn’t work for me, with book activities already dominating my blog. I have readers and articles outside of literature. What I’ll do is keep this whole page, rather than sharing as usual. I’ll link this URL at every check-in but mark down months, to show when my books have been read. Sound good?
I wish our very dear Marigold a happy fourth birthday!
She’s a wonderful cat and mother of our four grown kitties.
We love you very much, Marigold!
Happy birthday to you today!

There are 10 books in the last month’s draw. Please don’t miss my full sum, also shown right there. For the year end award: my whole total is one-hundred-and-thirty-eight books!!!! It is the most I have ever read at once. I am a proven “Real Book Queen”, nearly tripled!
I haven’t had comments at this post yet. It would be lovely to close it with a note from the hostesses. I hope you browse my well-varied reviews and enjoy them too. :) Happy new year 2015, from Carolyn!
