Riedel Reading Themes!

Welcome to my blog.  I’m Carolyn.  After years of fun…  I’m throwing down my gauntlet as a reading challenge hostess!  There are wonderful places to track books.  I’ll do things differently and am excited to introduce three new themes!

These aren’t ‘read-a-thons’ but a year of challenges.  Most end Dec 31, a rush I’m determined to alleviate.  Why fiddle with websites at a time when we can focus wholly on Christmas?  Mine span February 1, 2014 – February 28, 2015.

Join me in launching the very first “RIEDEL READING THEMES!
Click each banner, pose questions that occur to you.  You’re cordially invited to sign-up any time through my chronological year:  starting now!

Ethereal 2014

Ethereal” invites all mystical content, spiritual or paranormal.  Miracles, healing, ghosts, witches:  here is a unique place for gathering etherealness together!

 My Kind Of Mystery 2014

My Kind Of Mystery” gathers every form of mystery and its authors!  At last here is a place to include biographies, an author’s tell-all, vintage kids’ books,
Phyllis A. Whitney’s “Guide To Fiction Writing”…  ANYTHING.

Solve riddles throughout the year.

Gentle Spectrums” introduces two flexible word themes.  You choose!
They are:  “Limitless Colour Pallet” and “Gentle Subjects“.

A)  Challenges us to 10 colour titles.  Any colours may reoccur.
B)  Lists 10 broad subjects, easily fulfilled with abundant titles.

Stay tuned for hilarious games, called Spectrum Spotlight!

If you haven’t already, you might consider advertising your challenges on A Novel Challenge (http://novelchallenges.blogspot.com/)….a site that collects all the book challenges out there in one place.

    • I sure did and plopped it onto our “Addicts” page too. I’m all ears if you think of any other mainstream place. Truly Bev, having a heavy-hitter like you as a guest in any of my circles is a great news-broadcaster. Your post is warm and made me smile!

  2. I like the “Limitless Colour Pallet”,
I’ll think about it, but I already think I will be in! :)

thanks for informing me of your reading challenges. I see someone already told you of the Novel Challenge site for listing reading challenges so i will not repeat it. I am almost to my limit on reading challenges including my good reads challenge. I will return here if I dont enter another from the Novel Challenge.

  5. I just updated one of my reading challenge posts to direct people this way. Congratulations on taking the reins.

  6. LuAnn Braley says:

So, all the reading for these themes is to be completed from February 1 – February 28?
