~ MY KIND OF MYSTERY GAMES! ~
Our very first My Kind Of Mystery games are unlocked, in our starting month of 2018! Welcome, have fun, don’t be hesitant to try, and let’s play!
~ GAME #1 ~
Identify this year’s 2018 mystery group logo!
Which book is it, which author, and original publishing year?
Guesses are unlimited (RIEDELFascination(at)gmail(dot)com). New clues will be added every few months.
The cover I chose for our 2018 group is not the one I own but I find it the most beautiful. I have not read this novel yet but this version suggests paranormal content but the categorization is something I favour anyway: gothic mystery. It is a recent release (2010 onward), originating in England with this cover and a title about a character. It was reissued in Canada and the United States one month after, with a cover and title about a place.
The clue with which to really work well, is that the English authoress’ name, resembles an American author of Greek-inspired children’s fantasy adventures. They are blockbuster films, in which Pierce Brosnan has appeared.
December 18th: AN EXTRA, FINAL CLUE IS GIVEN HERE.

~ GAME #2 ~
Earn letters and solve the world scramble!
This is a new game débuting this year, today! It provides an optional means of rewarding the reading you do with our group. If you would like to be in the year-end draw, which will take place the first week of December, let me know.
Solving this word scramble is rewarded with your name being in the prize bowl an additional time! Otherwise, play along, just for fun. Whenever you read and report a book in these categories (via review link, or your list in the comment box of that page), you will receive the letter that goes with the category.
Light readers, don’t fear! You may exchange letters with someone who has finished a category that you don’t expect to read, if you checked-off one they need. Alternatively, if you supply extra books in any category, you may request letters you need. Stay tuned for more information!
