String 5 books
Paperclips 10 books
Duct Tape 15 books

I love the concept here, relaxing with literature under 300 pages long. Like music singles, mysteries were briefer four decades ago and sometimes it’s nice to whip through a short story too. Most of the series volumes I devour are just at the 300 page mark so I’ll go straight to ‘gorilla glue‘ on this: 20!

**** CHALLENGE TRIPLED! ****
~ PICK AN AUTHOR ~
~Books over 100 pages long.
~As many or as few authors you want.
~At least 2 books from the authors you pick.
This is a nice theme. When I admire an artist, I chase all their work and love to share it with others. No levels are set out; just a substantial enough story and 3 authors with 2 titles are recommended. There is no ‘linky’ system either: note your blog in comments and update your page periodically. Watch for mine!
“Mystery At Black Rock Island” Robert Sutherland 1983
“The Loon Lake Murders” Robert Sutherland 1987
“The Ghost Of Ramshaw Castle” Robert Sutherland 1989
“Dancing Feathers” Christel Kleitsch 1985
“A Time To Be Brave” Christel Kleitsch 1985
“Homicide In Hardcover” Kate Carlisle 2009
“If Books Could Kill” Kate Carlisle 2009
“Mew Is For Murder” Clea Simon 2005
I don’t miss ‘Vintage Mysteries‘! Conquer 8 published by 1959 and each fits into a theme. They’re so numerous, ‘Bev’ appears to have made things easier. I’ll show readers below when I’ve chosen my gems! Last year I achieved the hardest, ‘deadly decades’; something from every era, beginning with pre-1900!

Glad to have you back!
Thanks for inviting me to the challenge and also for tracking me down.
It’s my great pleasure to meet people with the same interests! Have to admit it took hours, being on dial-up, to load each blog & write everyone from Lila’s ghostly theme!
Hello! I kept meaning to stop by. Thank you for joining the Quick Fix Challenge! Good luck!
Wow! Done already! Congratulations! If you link up a wrap up post (this one with all the reviews linked is fine) in the Wrap Up post area (towards the bottom) on the same post where the review links are, you’ll be entered in the year-end prize drawing. Also–just to tempt you a bit more…if you complete 8 more books, you’ll automatically receive a prize.
Thanks for congratulating me! Oh dear, I’m in 34+ themes I’d like to get a move on. On the other hand, I’m self-competitive and reach all the way to the top. It’s a deal! :)
