“MY KIND OF MYSTERY” participants: for the first time we are going to round 2!
‘A RIEDEL Clue #2‘ proposes the riddle: “What unusual circumstances do
PAT BENATAR, TINA TURNER, and AGATHA CHRISTIE have in common?“
Round 2 lasts until Thursday evening, July 24th.
A fast look at short biographies of these women is all it takes.
Brainstorm on a discreet, even plain: (AlyshaeB[at]hotmail[dot]com).
Guesses by e-mail are unlimited and certainly chatting via comments. You may guess and request a hint. Multiple correct sleuths result in a draw. Don’t withhold answers due to uncertainty. I’ll tell you how warm you are. If none hit the nail on the head, I would draw from among all who gave it a try! :-)
The following hint does not comprise the answer. It shows you were to look.
“Life is a play and all the world is a X”.
“A rose by any other X would –NOT– smell as sweet”.

** WINNER UPDATE! **
In the nick of time, a sweet person from my 3 groups ‘made a wild guess’. I’ll say: Nina dictated the answer I had in mind with exactitude! It was uncanny.
“BENATAR, TURNER, and CHRISTIE were last names of husbands whom PAT, TINA, AGATHA divorced. In an odd set of circumstances, they kept these ex-husbands’ names because they became famous during those marriages”. PAT later married her soul mate guitarist, Neil (I have beheld their talent in concert!!!); AGATHA spent her life with Mr. Mallowan, and interestingly TINA stayed away from marriage since 1978…. until just in July 2013!
Congratulations, Nina! Choose from used books, my 8×11 prints, or Canadian postcards. :) Hats off to Kristine for coming close in a second guess, Laura and Margaret for participating aloud. I hope everyone is pleased to find their reviews from all groups, in a menu at the top of this blog. :) Yours, Carolyn.
